Some say love is unpredictable, but nothing is more bizarre than falling for your captor. But who are we to judge, right? The game begins with a 3-4-3-4-3 reel grid offering 432 ways to win. Winning symbols will explode and disappear, allowing new ones to drop into place, potentially leading to more wins. During each round, one character symbol is randomly selected and given a win multiplier, which can range from x2 to x10.

The Con Man Wild feature activates when the full Con Man Wild lands on the 3rd reel, unlocking the bottom position on that reel, making it part of the Con Man Wild. A random character symbol, excluding the highest-paying one, is then chosen, and all of its instances on the reels are transformed into Wilds. If, in the main game, the Con Man Wild only partially lands from the top, it remains in place even if winning combinations occur.

The POLIS feature is triggered when POLIS symbols line up sequentially in the same row during the main game. The first four positions lock in coin values with random multipliers, which can range from x5 to as much as x5000 or even a Max Win symbol. The fifth position may reveal up to three keys, each of which unlocks one of the locked coin values or the Max Win. All unlocked coin values are then totaled and multiplied by the base bet for the win.

The SOS feature activates when SOS symbols align sequentially in the same row. The 'O' symbol is transformed into an xBomb® Wild. This feature only triggers in the main game if there is neither a win nor an avalanche; however, in bonus mode, it triggers automatically.

Similarly, the PISS feature comes into play when PISS symbols align sequentially in the same column. These symbols are then converted into xBomb® Wilds. As with the SOS feature, PISS only triggers in the main game when there is neither a win nor an avalanche but activates automatically during bonus mode.

When three Scatter symbols land in the base game, 7 Hostage Spins are triggered, and the bottom position on reel 3 is unlocked. Each time a full Con Man Wild lands, the Con Man Wild win multiplier increases by +1, and a character symbol is upgraded to the highest-paying one for the remaining spins, following a predetermined order. Initially, the lowest-paying symbol is chosen; the second time, the next lowest, and so on. A full Con Man Wild also awards an additional spin. Throughout the Hostage Spins, the xBomb® multiplier remains sticky, and landing a Scatter symbol adds an extra spin.

Landing four Scatter symbols in the base game triggers 8 Syndrome Spins, played on a 3-4-4-4-4-3 reel grid. During this mode, the Con Man Wild can land on reels 3 and 4, nudging up or down until fully visible. Character symbols are collected from the four middle reels whenever the Con Man Wild lands, with double the symbols collected if there are two Con Man Wilds. The collect meter can exceed 5, and once all meters are full, the Syndrome feature is triggered. In this mode, reel 3 becomes covered by a Wild symbol with a win multiplier, which starts at 2 and increases by +1 for each additional collected symbol beyond 5. Reel 4 gains an additional position that reveals a random symbol of size 2, affecting all occurrences of that symbol on the reels by making them the same size, with the size increasing for each extra collected symbol beyond 5. Reels 2 and 5 split each symbol into 2, with the split size increasing by +1 for each extra collected symbol beyond 5. Each time a full Con Man Wild lands, it awards an additional spin, and Scatter symbols add an extra spin during Syndrome Spins. The xBomb® multiplier remains sticky throughout this feature as well.
