What video slot is better than the highly praised 2017 release, Reactoonz? Reactoonz 2, of course. By which resumes the experience and overall theme where the first edition left off. Yet, the developer has not merely covered the old story with a fresh look. And trust us when we say, the new graphics and atmosphere are dialled up to eleven. It simply feels decadent and not as flat as the original, well in comparison. But also, a lot of time has gone into rethinking the features, and how they interact during the gameplay. However, what remains mostly intact from the initial release is the bonus feature trigger. Plus, what also lifts this version is the increased max win to 5,083 x your bet. Now for the real question. If you are a fan of the first title, will you adopt the latest contribution to the series with the same enthusiasm?
Reactoonz 2 base gameplay
All in all, Reactoonz 2 base gameplay is almost identical to what we saw in the first title. As such, if you did enjoy what started this series, you will quickly pick up the fun on the similar 7-reel and 7-rows set-up. Meaning, still present is, of course, the cluster pays math model. Yet, what is change is the increased max win. That went from the fairly ok 4,750 x your bet to a slightly raised 5,083x. As for the game itself, the main story-line is still to collect symbols to fil a meter. But in this instance, there are two attributes that count towards the end result. First is the “Fluctometer” that charges the symbols to fill the “Quantumeter” where you reap the bonus rewards and the massive wins.

First off, if compared with the title that already occupies the series, Reactoonz 2 are coming in on a bit lower return to player (RTP) 96.20%. For level 2 (85 charges) grants you 1, 2×2 Energoon wild. Level 3 (110 charges) launches a massive 3×3 “Gargantoon wild”. For the fourth and final level (135 charges) a 2x multiplier adds. But more importantly a 3×3 Gargantoon wild.
Our conclusion about Reactoonz 2
Admittedly, it’s rare that we push demo mode, play for fun, or study the paytable for that matter. Although, we think it’s the right approach to experience the full potential Reactoonz 2 has. In fact, we are quite sure that you will have a much better experience if you do know the game from the first spin. Saying all that, if you are a fan of the first game, you will pick up the gameplay without any problem. In the end, the second chapter of this series is better than the first one. And it shows on the generally good reviews and the number of spins Reactoonz 2 picked up in its relatively short lifetime. Could it be that top-performing games like Starburst, Book of dead and Bonanza have a real contender on its hands? We think they do.
